DU Junior Casey Dobyns Finishes Tied for 27th on Vault at NCAA Championships
9.75 not good enough to move on

CORVALLIS, Ore. — University of Denver junior Casey Dobyns (Woodinville, Wash.) scored a 9.75 on her one and only vault Thursday night and finished in a four-way tie for 27th place in Session II of the NCAA National Championships in Gill Coliseum. The lone Pioneer to qualify for Nationals, Dobyns’ score was not good enough to move on to Saturday’s individual event finals.

The Pioneers finished their season with a fourth-place finish at the North Central Region Championships April 8. DU will return 12 letterwinners in 2007.
